1. Make sure your rifle is unloaded and ensure that there is no ammunition in the chamber. The safety
should be engaged (A). Remove the top cover by pulling the rear of the cover up (B).

2. Turn the rifle upside down to remove the trigger assembly. Insert a screw driver or other metal rod
into the hole in the rear of the trigger guard. Pivot the screw driver enough to disengage the rear
of the trigger guard from the trigger assembly (C). The assembly can then be lifted straight up for
removal (D). The original stock can be removed by pivoting it from the rear (E).

3. Remove the two screws that hold the stock reinforcement frame in place (F). The stock reinforcement
frame can now be removed from the bottom of the stock by squeezing the frame together and pivoting
the back of the frame out (G). The forearm liner & stock cap assembly must also be removed. This
can be removed by simply sliding it forward (H). Make a mental note of exactly how this is installed.

4. Reinstall the forearm liner into the TAPCO Intrafuse Stock first (I). Once the liner is in place on the
bottom of the stock body, the reinforcement frame can be inserted (J). It is easiest to insert from the
bottom, making sure the lip of the stock reinforcement frame is on top of the end of the forearm liner.
You will once again have to squeeze the frame together for insertion. Use two of the three supplied
short screws with lock washers to secure the frame to the stock. The original screws will not be used.

5. The barreled receiver can now be inserted into the stock body. Make sure to insert the front of the
stock into the bottom gas block first (K). The stock should be seated completely into the gas block.
Reinstall the trigger assembly, locking the unit in place by closing the trigger guard completely (L).

6. Insert the front of the top cover into the top gas block (M). Push the cover down until it is seated
against the stock body. Use the remaining supplied short screw with lock washer to secure the left
side of the cover. On the right side, insert the supplied bushing between the metal tab and stock body.
Secure it with the supplied long screw with lock washer (N).

7. Insert the adjustable stock into the stock body. To fully seat it you may need to tap the adjustable
stock lightly on the floor. Secure it with the two supplied long screws with nuts (O). Using a light
lubricant on the threads, attach the pistol grip to the stock body with the included 2.25” hex head
screw. The hole that is located on the raised platform should be used (P). Use a 3/8” socket to tighten
the screw until snug, but not overtightened.

8. The Intrafuse Stock comes with two tubes. One tube is slanted to allow easy use of the iron sights.
The straight tube is for use with optics. To change the tubes simply remove the adjustable stock by
pulling up the lever used to change positions and pull until the stock separates from the tube. Remove
the two bolts holding the tube on and switch out the tubes. Install in the reverse order.
9. Perform a function check on your weapon to ensure that the installation was successful. The example
is shown in Dark Earth with the TAPCO Vertical Grip.
