Cost: $375 Per Couple, cost is all inclusive
and covers your stay and meals.
Non-Refundable $100.00 deposit required
by 3/17/13, with remaining balance due
no later than 3/31/13. Limited Scholarships
available.
When: Friday April 12th at 6pm to just after
lunch on Sunday April 14th.
Dinner will be served at 6pm on Friday in
the dining room otherwise food will be
provided upon arrival.

Allow approximately 3 hours of travel time
There are 3 ways to register:
Registration Forms on Sunday’s, Online at
gracefl.org, or come by the church office
during the normal business hours.
2 Buses will be leaving the Grace at 3pm
Friday, 4/12/13. There are 30 possible seats
on a first come first serve basis.
Schedule will allow for practical teaching as
well as time to enjoy each other in the sea
side village. St. Simons is a beautiful quaint
town rich in history. There will be plenty
of time allowed to explore and enjoy each
others company while doing so. Come
join us as we explore tools for a healthy
marriage with topics on communication,
forgiveness, and others.
Steve has a PhD in Marriage
and Family Counseling and
maintains a private practice in
Gainesville, Florida, where he
specializes in helping couples
create a safe environment
for open supportive
communication. As a former
pastor Steve integrates the
scriptural and clinical training,
permitting him to share
relational insights embedded
in scriptural truth. Joanna
combines her formal training
in Bible and interpersonal
communication skills with
her many years of classroom
teaching and church ministry.
Drawing from this rich
background, Joanna utilizes a
variety of teaching approaches
to ensure maximize
engagement of couples in the
seminar/retreat experience.
Steve and Joanna have a
unique way of teaching with
Grace and humor, using
modeling, skits, interactive
group activities, and couple
assignments.

Steve and Joanna Figley
Patrick Callahan has been a
leader in ministry since 1993
and on staff as an associate
Pastor at The Family Church
since 2000. For the past
eleven years Patrick and his
wife Linda have developed and
facilitated a highly successful
Marriage Retreat at The
Family Church. Patrick has his
M.A. in Public Administration.
Linda has devoted over
25 years to professional
counseling from a Christian
perspective. She has
been particularly effective
intervening with couples
confronted with marital
challenges, individuals with
depression and anxiety, life
transition challenges, loss and
grief recovery and sensitive
issues pertaining to women.
Patrick and Linda speak at
various churches, retreats,
conferences and seminars
that focus on topics such as
communication, life balance,
sexuality, enhancing our
relationships and parenting.
