Vendor Application & Faire Rules
Please read and initial each item below, some information has changed
______ 1. Booths must be open from
11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Wed, Thurs & Fri
10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sat.
______ 2. The booth space assigned to me by UMRF
must be maintained in a clean and proper order and
dressed in a renaissance colour and flavour. All boxes
must be hidden and garbage picked up at all times.
______ 3. All participants in the Booth must be clothed in
costume to present a renaissance appearance (Shorts &
Tabard not acceptable). UMRF Buttons must be worn
while working in your booth and also allows you to walk the
park and vend.
______ 4. All vendors must park in vendor parking lot
and not adjacent to the City Park, please leave that for
visitors.
______ 5. Vendor trash must be placed in the furnished
dumpsters and not in the barrels provided for public use.
______ 6. Absolutely No vehicles are allowed on the park
or UMRF grounds for any reason, including setup,
teardown or deliveries. Etc.
______ 7. Food vendors are responsible to obtain food
handlers permits and pay the $75 Temp. Food Handlers
Permit fee to S. W. Utah public Health, 260 East DL
Sargeant Drive, Cedar City Utah before the start of the
Faire.
______ 8. Participants are solely responsible for any and/or
all damages caused by the operations of their booth to the
grounds, property of other participants and/or all third parties, including purchasers of product/wares from the booth.
______ 9. Participants are responsible for all sales and the
collection of the Utah State Sales Tax. Forms will be included in packets upon Check in.
______ 11. All Vendors must provide own security and
may sleep in Booth during the Faire.
______ 12. Electricity is limited and therefore must must
be on Vendor app to be places in appropriate spaces. No
Drinks are allowed to be sold or Given away.
______ 13. Early Registration discount on or before
March 31, 2016. Additional fees are as listed on Application.
______ 14. All fees and performance bond MUST be included to be considered. All fees will be returned if you
are not accepted. Cancellations will be charged a $25
filing fee. No Refund for cancellations after June 30th
2016. Any applications received after June 15, 2016 cannot be guaranteed placement in the program.
______ 15. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope
for the return of your Performance Bond, if all contract obligations have been met. Performance bond will be returned within 30 days after end of Faire. There is a $5.00
fee if no SASE is included.
______ 16. Setup time will be between 12:00 Noon and
9:00 PM on Tuesday July 12, 2016 and 7:00 AM and 9:00
AM on Wednesday morning July 13, 2016. All Vendor
cars must be in vendor parking by 10:30 AM.
______ 17. All Vendors must be set up before 9:30 AM,
Wednesday July 13th and must attend the Vendor meeting at the main stage at 10:00 AM this is mandatory.
______ 18. Booth Choices are not guaranteed.

I understand that the $50.00 Performance Bond will be returned to me within 30 days of the close of the Faire ONLY if all of the conditions of the contract have been satisfied throughout the entire duration of the 2016 Renaissance Faire. By signing the bottom of this form I am acknowledging that I
have read and understand the above rules and will be notified by mail upon acceptance to the 2016 Utah Midsummer Renaissance Faire. All Returned checks will be subject to a $35 Service Fee and acceptance of your applications will be on hold until satisfaction is made on all fees.
