Mobile IM (MIM) service allows subscriber access to all
major IM networks from their mobile phones, creating an
extension of the PC-chat environment. Subscribers can
chat on their handsets with anyone they currently chat
with on their computers. Due to the built-in mobile Web
interface, MIM works on virtually all mobile phones.
Fully optimized for intuitive navigation, MIM adapts to
the capabilities of each phone, creating a superior user
experience. This application allows users to access
multiple IM accounts simultaneously with one MIM ID,
add/remove/block/unblock buddies, view buddy profiles,
send/receive personal messages and change status. MIM
also features a full list of emoticons, multiple language
support and auto refresh.

Is there an implementation fee?
No.
How long does it take to implement?
A typical implementation requires two weeks from execution of an
agreement or amendment.
Can MIM be carrier branded?
Yes. The carrier logo appears in the banner on each page of the
application.
Who answers subscriber questions regarding MIM usage?
The carrier provides level one customer support; if the carrier
representative cannot answer a specific question, they should open a
ticket in ClearSky’s Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
What testing is required as part of the implementation?
MIM is supported by all handsets that are WAP 2.x capable, therefore,
no handset testing is required; however, testing is recommended to
ensure accurate billing via DayPass and RevShare.
How are pre-paid subscribers billed?
MIM will use the existing pre-paid integration to create a seamless
purchase experience in your existing pre-paid environment.
How are post-paid subscribers billed?
Subscribers will purchase a MIM subscription that will be valid for 30
days. Once they opt in, RevShare will create CDR with a specific
content type, and for many carriers, an additional field with the name
of the subscription purchased.
What training is provided?
ClearSky will provide a Web-based training session as part of the
carrier implementation.
Is my WAP Gateway compatible with MIM? Only if you are using
ClearSky’s WAP Gateway.
