I watched most of the
87th Annual Academy
Awards, which took place
this past Sunday at the
Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. We saw Lady Gaga
(she’s playing the Woodlands in April!), some big
stars, some very pretty
people, and I think host
Neil Patrick Harris did an
admirable job.
Tell you what: I’m an
amateur drummer and
I cannot WAIT to see
“Whiplash,” about a young
drummer and his taskmaster teacher. It was to be
released on DVD this past
Tuesday (Feb. 24). I didn’t
catch it in theaters, but I
will be renting (or buying,
depending) that film first.
