Parishioner Death Notices
In our modern bustling world
we sometimes lose contact
with friends from decades
earlier - even within our own
parish communities. We
might be surprised to hear
that a friend from years
gone by has passed away
and we missed the
opportunity to say goodbye or console the deceased’s
loved ones in their loss.
In response to popular requests from parishioners,
you now will have the opportunity to learn of deaths in
the parish. When funeral arrangements are made and
family permission is received, we will issue an e-mail
notice to those parishioners who have registered their
desire to receive such notices. The emails will not be
sent to the entire parish - only to those who have
registered to receive such information.
We ask that this information be used to offer prayers
for deceased members and their families at their time
of loss. We are unable to provide private contact
information for families, but we will provide funeral
arrangements as approved by family members.
To receive such notices, visit the parish website, click
on the link at the bottom of the page to “Join Our
Mailing List”. Enter your email address, then click on
the Parishioner Death Notices list to update your
newsletter preferences to include such email
correspondence.

Introductory Session Now … Here it is!
Interested? Want to learn more about it and how it will deepen your prayer life? Join us for an introductory
session where we will watch a video explaining this prayer experience.
“Lord, Teach Me To Pray” (LTMTP) is a prayer series, rooted in Ignatian spirituality and designed to help
women and men learn a new form of prayer. It was developed to meet the on-going desire for spiritual
growth for people as they respond to the call to holiness and a deeper commitment to Jesus Christ. This 12
week series introduces Ignatian prayer and spirituality in the way that St. Ignatius himself introduced people; i.e., by structuring their initial prayer experience around the Christian Virtues. It is conducted in a small
group experience with two trained facilitators. We will begin this prayer experience formally in our parish in
September.
