HITACHI strived to enhance the product line, for example, adding NEXT series which is the advanced energy saving compressor
seeking for the environmental performance to
which has already established the reputation.
Hitachi as the company to answer the needs from industries which are going after further development. Hitachi will continuously provide
advanced compressors as before with the new technologies as a core competence based on the customer satisfaction first.
Low pressure drop design
Big size air intake filter, Oil separator and cooler are installed.
Minimized the energy loss from unit pressure loss to maximize the energy saving performance.
Margin up with big size filter
Air intake filter is enlarged by one-size.

Long and simple maintenance
Easy check and maintenance is achieved by locating maintenance parts such as filter or regulator valves inside the removal front door.
● 8 year overhauling period
● 2 year exchange period for the lubricant
Overhauling period for Compressor
block (air end) is 8 years because of
the matching of the high load duty
bearing system and lubricant filtration
system with high precision.
Compressor oil, “NEW HISCREW OIL2000” with the
highest class durability is applied. Oil change period is
2 years.
Topping up period is also elongated by reducing oil
consumption.

● Big size air intake filter
Spin-on type oil separator is adopted for
easy maintenance.
Cartridge type filter is adopted. Cleaning maintenance
period is elongated comparing to conventional models
2000 series by the combination of bigger size filter and
high filtration ratio which is achieved by 2 step method
of centrifugal separation and filtration.
Simple operation
Simple and easy-look instrumental panel is newly developed.
ECOMODE, PQ wide mode and remote control switching can be done on the instrumental
panel.
Additionally, in case of trouble, the information on the trouble is shown on the monitor and
quick trouble shooting can be taken.
● One-touch setting for target pressure setting/change.
Target pressure change for energy saving can be done on the instrumental panel.
● Instantaneous Power Interruption (IPI) restart function is standard.
Automatic restart is available after instantaneous power interruption.

● Cascade vector control logic by Hitachi original technology and PID control enable both high response and stability.
The control logic of variable speed control for V plus is all Hitachi uniquely developed.
The system can control discharge pressure within plus/minus 0.01 MPa, achieve high response performance and bring out the high
load following capability and stability.

recommended size (or larger) air tank must be installed. In order to gain
enough energy saving effect from ECOMODE, recommended sized
(or larger) air tank is required to be installed.
Also, M type cannot run with U type fixed operation.

for improvement of power cooperative at the power supply input line.

Vplus is variable speed control system to adjust to
necessary air flow demand.
Compared to conventional fixed speed models, Vplus controls the air capacity following the necessary air demand. So there is almost no

Conservation of discharge pressure
Stable discharge pressure control
enables to supply necessary air flow
at necessary pressure.

Because of the stable discharge pressure control which precisely
maintains the pressure within plus/minus 0.01MPa, the necessary
and optimal pressure air can be supplied efficiently.
Additionally, pressure setting can be done by 0.01MPa for significant
energy saving.

Unique control logic enables to maintain the set pressure even
during the low load operation. Because the normal variable speed
control should have pressure under shoot when low load operation
or automatic starting, target pressure should be set in advance
whereas Vplus can surely save energy consumption with the
conservation of discharge pressure control function.

PQ wide mode adjust automatically the maximum rotation speed of the compressor and enables to increase discharge air flow.
The compressor can run wider pressure range (P) and Air flow range (Q) compared to conventional variable speed control compressors.

combination system is suitable. Hitachi V-M combination
system, that divides one unit into 2, brings a big merit.
