human remains and undocumented workers.

by the POLO.

substitution, contract violation, etc.) are
addressed by our Labor Attaches.

Welfare cases like maltreatment, sexual abuse
and the likes, are handled by the Welfare
Officers.

OWWA also assists members who have claims against
their employers, this time through their agencies
whether money claims or cases of abuse.

They have the option to file with POEA or through the
Legal Division of OWWA.

In cases of OFW money claims:

The National Labor Relations Commission is a quasijudicial body tasked to promote and maintain
industrial peace by resolving labor and management
disputes involving both local and overseas workers
through compulsory arbitration and alternative modes
of dispute resolution.
In cases of OFW complains,
POEA hears and arbitrates complaints and cases filed
against recruitment and manning agencies, foreign
principals and employers, and overseas workers for
reported violation of POEA rules and regulations, except
for money claims

Delivers responsive, productive and sustainable
reintegration services to OFW returnees that will
enable them to maximize the gains of overseas
employment, mitigate the social costs of migration
and cushion the impact of forced repatriation due to
unexpected events.
