LEARNING EXPERIENCES

We talked about different kinds of air transport such as helicopter and air balloon.
We discussed how helicopter is different from an aero plane.

Children created their own passport.
LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT
We talked about the form and function of helicopter and the air-balloon through audio visuals, picture
reading. We discussed about the festival of colours ‘Holi’. Discussion on various do and don’t on holi such
as-Donot play with dirty colours, Don’t throw water balloons, apply cream on the face before playing Holi.
New vocabulary:- Air-balloon, helicopter, long distance, short distance, passport, country and many other words.
Rhymes:-Aero plane up in the sky, I am a little airplane, lal peela hawai jahaj hui mai, holi ayee re ayee re
holi aye re.
COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT– Children learnt about different colours through a game . They played a gameTippy Tippy Tap and identified different coloured objects in the class room surrounding.
PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENTFine motor skills: Children coloured a picture of a helicopter and air balloon with cotton swab and finger
tips. They enjoyed gujiya making activity.
Gross motor skills: They went to Jhoola bari and played on swings. They enjoyed riding on the tricycles,
cars and riders in the play area.

1. Please show the passports of your family members to your child.
2. Talk about the festival of Holi
3. Use new vocabulary.
