The high crime rate is a growing concern for residents of Trinidad and Tobago. The University of the
Southern Caribbean is taking the initiative to get involved in the efforts to reduce the crime rate by
promoting the adoption of good morals and values.
Link Up for Life is a campaign that seeks to bring about this necessary change in Trinidad.
The positive values espoused by the University of the Southern Caribbean are central to the campaign.
These values are as follows:
The campaign will culminate in a week of activities involving stakeholders in social reform, the youth
and the general public and will highlight the various values that can bring about change in Trinidad and

2 hour session focusing on values-based education as part of the solution to crime and violence; featuring live
discussion, University students and USC President, Dr. Clinton Valley
Tuesday, May 14, 2013 | City Rally/Concert | 11:30am -1:30pm
Inspiration, music, poetry and prayer at the Brian Lara Promenade, Port of Spain
