Step One
Section off hair at the temple, in a horse shoe shape.
Secure long hair out of the way, to protect from cutting, while working on
the top of the head.
Section off fringe area.

Step Two
Over direct the fringe cutting a square line, with valley and peaks.
Continue to work towards the crown over directing each section, slowly
elevating each section. (shorter at the fringe longer at the crown).
Cross check top sections.

Working from the crown, work into the back sections over directing towards
the crown. Cross check
Gently lighten the fringe section, retain length and soften according to
density of hair. (attention to detail)

Step Four
Soften the outer edge, checking shape and suitability.
Undo previously sectioned off hair, dampen and get ready to blend into
top section.
Take 1st section at the front hairline. Blend very steeply from top layers to
long perimeter length, maintaining the outside corner.

Step Five
Work from the front hair line and over direct forward, working to the back
of ear.
Take center back section, over-direct sections towards the center back,
to retain length at the back of the ear

Continue to blend from short layers to the longer layers, repeating the
method from the previous side.
All the razor edges should have a light wispy effect, to create movement
and dimension

On the second side open the angle, creating a soft concave, creating
asymmetry with in the outline.
In the back of the style,repeat technique on second side.

Dry style and review the shape looking at balance and proportion.
To create additional softness, use your scissors and slide into the hair,
creating more lightness where required.
