Bolero Pattern
This Bolero is crochet in one piece!
For sizes S, M, L and XL with larger hook!

1 big ball Coats & Clark Aunt Lydia’s “DENIM”, Quick Crochet, crochet
hook H-8, English 6, 5 mm
Edging: 2 oz Sugar’n Cream, 90 % Cotton, 10 % Metallic Thread
You also can use:
Lion Brand Yarn “Microspun”, crochet hook G-7 or
Caron “Simply Soft”, crochet hook G-7
Finished measurements from top before starting with
straps to the end of the skirt:
S: 11.5” long without the edging, app. 30” wide without edging
M: 12.5 long without the edging, app. 32” wide without edging
L: 13.5 long without the edging, app. 34” wide, without edging
XL: use pattern for size L and larger hook: Coats and Clark yarn hook
I-9, Lion Brand Yarn hook H-8, Caron yarn H-8

Before beginning crocheting the bolero, crochet
24 (30, 36) ch loop, needed later on - Row 11!
Beginning Row:
Start with Arm: Chain loosely 62 (62, 62)
Row 1:
Dc in 5th ch from hook, *ch 1, skip 1 st, dc in next st*, repeat from *to*,
row ends with dc in last st
= 29 (29, 29) dcs
(including the

Row 2:
Ch 4 (= 3 chs always counts as first dc + ch 1), skip 1 st, dc in next st
