“The LORD is in His holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before
Him.”
Habakkuk 2:20
Meditation Scriptures for this Week:
Psalm 138
Pastor: Let us then confess our sins to God our Father
Confession:
Our most gracious Father in heaven, We bow before You to
confess our sin and seek Your forgiveness. We have not
esteemed others better than ourselves and have fallen into
sin because of our own weakness. We know that sin leads
us to death but Your gift to us is eternal life in Christ Jesus
our Lord. Strengthen our hearts against sin and forgive us
when we fail. Grant to us the promise of eternal life with
You in heaven and Your grace to live here on this earth. In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Absolution:
We beseech You, Almighty God, Heavenly Father, to grant
us a true faith, a firm hope in Your mercy, and a sincere
love to our fellow men, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
