These engines not only deliver exceptional fuel
economy, but they give really low emissions. For
example, the 1.25 litre emits just 113 grams/km of
CO² while returning 5.6 litre/100 km combined. So

Precise 5-speed manual or convenient 4-speed
automatic transmission ensures that the i10 perfectly
fits your driving style. Both manual and automatic
transmissions are available in the 1.25 litre engine,
while the 1.1 litre engine is available in manual only.
CVVT
There are two efficient engines to choose from, a
1.1 litre with 50 Kw and the 1.25 litre with 64 Kw.
Constantly Variable Valve Timing (CVVT), measures
every drop of fuel for maximum efficiency and this
is available on the 1.25 litre engine.

structure and an intelligent infrastructure which absorbs

STOPPING POWER
The i10 features 241mm front discs and larger
180mm rear drums. Together with the 4 channel
ABS (on Fluid and Glide) and standard brake booster
and assistant systems, this means you will have
reeserves of braking power and non-skid security
when you need it most.
RIGID SAFETY STRUCTURE
Created using computer dynamics, high strength
materials and thoroughly tested to withstand the
most immense impacts and pressures, the i10 is a
light but stable vehicle. This is the basis of not only
the safety of the i10 but also of its dynamic, yet safe

AIRBAGS
The intelligent safety package of the i10 provides a
fully integrated passive safety system. This package
features depowered driver and passenger airbags,
which will deploy at a reduced force to prevent
possible injury. To further improve the safety of the
i10, the seatbelt pre-tensioner is activated with the
front airbag, providing enhanced protection. With all
these features, you can be sure that the i10 has got
all of your safety requirements covered.
