JOHN’S CROSS – Competed at top maiden level against state-breds and showed interest in summer debut. SUNSHINE KEN – Failed in last pair as odds-on chalk and steadied retreating; conqueror fared poorly over weekend. BACHMAN BILLY – Possible pacesetter stopped after half mile in route after decent showings at Penn National. S 2 Race UN SH IN E ONE THOUSAND WATTS – Circled field with powerful rally then won with speed in reserve following Lake claim. REGALIAN’S REVENGE – Absent seven weeks since Farro re-claimed but runs big race on occasion. IMAGE – Survived duel when lasting against two-time winners; speedy and suited by yardage for new barn. EMBRACEABLE WIN – Very lightly raced with only two starts since March of last year; usually gives her best. Race 3 CHICHARITO – Closed big gap for higher tag and Farro barn has them firing; contested fractions would help. DERBY GOLD – Significant drop after humbled by runaway Ramon Preciado barn winner; case of seconditis. P.A. THUNDER – Held on tenaciously after dueling in finish dominated by stretch-runners; can be rated. BLAME THE JOCKEY – Closed well when narrowly missing in blanket finish; back after just six days. Race 4 EL CAPITAN – Responded favorably to plunge when edged in “open” company; superior runner in Mexico. MAGIC HARBOR – Overmatched in latest but game and versatile and fits this level returning to sprint. TINY PREDICAMENT – Bit erratic but fired after changing hands again; up notch but should be gaining late. HARD TO NAME – Heavily-backed in improved effort when removing blinkers again; rare route attempt. www.patha.org Race 5 PELEKAS BEACH – Florida shipper moves to Lynch barn for third start since return and pedigree to make progress. SEAGATE – Outrun in sloppy debut at Aqueduct for high-profile stable; sire Distorted Humor stands for $100,000. ECONOMIC DATA – Led routers this far in route captured by repeat winner; likely better suited this yardage. JUDI’S JOY – Yet to justify strong backing but dangerous if adjusts to sprint; rapid works earlier. Race 6 LINDA’S LAST – Trounced lesser in confidence booster and avoids tag this time; chance to shake loose. GIROUX – Improving stretch-runner ran into favored stablemate in route and same class level returning to sprint. NEIDERMEYER – Good form since arriving from Midwest and dueled extremely wide with routers. BEAU WHO – Faded along deeper inside around two turns and could fire at square price with best effort. Race 7 MAYBE TONIGHT – Defeated rugged opponent in latest and won stake at Monmouth; well-spotted with state-breds. CINDERELLA’S MIND – Sharp against talented duo in “open” company and terrific form since local arrival. SMART NUMBER – Nice showing with compact field in sloppy sprint and hit board in all four local attempts. GET’M UP PRONTO – Offered last-to-first rally at Penn National but likely less helpful pace scenario. Race 8 LONG BLOOMING ROSE – Failed to offer true measure over wet surface and stakes-placed in previous outing. ANGELIC LIONESS – Several strong efforts in recent months and part of exacta in 11 of 21 outings. CLOCK STOPPER – Sidelined since gate trouble in August and impressed in only prior start here in June. SARAH’S BIG DAY – Good record but beaten favorite in seemingly softer field; stretching out again. Race 9 COMPLETE GAME – Faltered in Penn National route and 10 losses but races cheapest ever in weak field. IRISH ROSE – Best showing when just failing to last in route; set up nicely for elongated sprint. APRILONTHEMONEY – Middle move against similar as 110-1 longshot; possibility with further progress. JACEY’S REVENGE – Distant fourth this level and Ryerson stable scoring at 18% rate locally this year.
