BAM Racing
In 2003, BAM Racing celebrated its first full season in the Cup series with 2 Top10 finishes and four Top-10 qualifying efforts. Owned by Beth Ann Morgenthau,
whose initials form the word BAM, the team began competing in racing’s upper
echelon in 2001 following a successful stock car debut in the ARCA Racing Series.
This year, with veteran wheelman Ken Schrader in the drivers seat of the #49
Schwan’s Home Service Dodge, BAM Racing is poised for a championship season.

Ken Schrader began racing about the same time he
learned to walk. Beginning in his parents backyard
and driving up through the ranks in open wheel
cars before he took on stock cars, Ken has won in
every division he has raced. Breaking into the Cup
Series in 1984 and then completing his first full
year in 1985, Ken was named Rookie of the Year. In
addition to running the full Cup schedule behind
the wheel of the #49 Schwan’s Home Service
Dodge, Ken also competes at various dirt tracks
throughout the Midwest each year.

Evernham Motorsports
Innovation is a key word in describing Evernham Motor Sports. Founded by Ray
Evernham, a former modified driver, the team is credited with bringing back
Dodge to Cup Series racing in 1999 after a 20 year absence. With 47 Winston Cup

Chip Ganassi Racing
In 2000, along with Felix Sabates and Team SABCO, Chip Ganassi jumped into
high gear entering his team in NASCAR’s Winston Cup series. Armed with years of
experience as a driver and a car owner, Ganassi looked to veteran driver Sterling
Marlin to capture the teams first victory in the Gatorade 125, the first race of the
2001 season. This year, Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates fields Sterling Marlin
in the #40 Coors Lite Dodge, Casey Mears in the #41 Target Dodge and Jamie
McMurray in the #42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge.

Marlin would lead the pack once he took the wheel
of a race car. Starting out at 16, Marlin paid his dues
through the years and began racing fulltime in the

Mike Ryan, founder and president of Mike Ryan
Motorsports has always had a passion for anything
with wheels and a motor. As a Hollywood stunt driver,
with over 500 feature films, television shows and
commercials under his belt, Mike has driven, crashed,
blown up or raced just about everything on the road.
Driving in the movies is one thing, but when Mike
gets behind the wheel of either his 1250 horsepower
race modified Freightliner Century Class hillclimb semi
truck, or his 4500 horsepower Freightliner Century
Class land speed racer, life doesn’t get any better.
Equipped with a Mercedes-Benz race engine, Mike
looks to set more records for Freightliner Trucks at
Pikes Peak this season. Currently, Mike owns the land
speed record for the Modified Diesel Semi-Truck class
set in 1997 at the Bonneville Salt Flats of over 224
miles per hour.
Mike also uses his experience on the movie set and
the race course to help educate fleet truck drivers on
accident avoidance and prevention techniques.
