Entering Warranty claims with Dealer Connect
Entering Warranty claims with Dealer Connect
Log into Dealer Connect http://dealerconnect.nautique.com
Now click on Warranty Claims from the navigation bar.
Now enter a Dealer Claim number (only letters and numbers allowed), a Full Hull number (example USCTC11001G011), Model, Year, Ship Method Customer
name and Comments (comments are not mandatory but the other fields are).
Now it is time to enter data in the basket portion. One line item is automatically entered It defaults to LABOR-W1. A failure description is required so enter
something in that field and a Qty is also required.
Now if you want to add a part number to the line you can either search for it in the upper right hand corner. If you know what the part number is you can click
on Quick Purchase from the navigation menu. I will add part number 4104 to this warranty claim using the Quick Purchase method. If you need to enter shop
supplies (i.e. gel coat, sealants, etc.) use part number “supplies”. The quantity is set up in $1 increments.
Once it is entered click on Add to Basket button. It then returns you to your basket.
Now something has to be entered in the Failure Description or RMA Number field.
We can now submit the claim but we can also attach something to this claim. I am going to attach a pic for PN 4104. There is a size limit on each attachment.
That is about 8mb. So now click on Attachments button
Now click on Add button
Now enter a brief description then click on Browse button to locate file you want attached to this Warranty Claim
Now click OK button
When complete the message below will be displayed. Then click OK button
Now you are back at your basket. You can add more lines here. If you need to add another Labor Line there is a button there labeled Add Labor.
If you need to add a part number you can use the search feature or if you know the part number you can use the Quick Purchase feature.
