Business Meeting: 3 Tuesday of each month at Wyatt Johnson Toyota Dealership on Wilma Rudolph Blvd.…6:30 PM
PRESIDENT’S CORNER
Well, here it is, the beginning of spring, and time to get the cars out of the garage, wash them off, and
slap a little wax on them. We hope to get off to a great start to the cruise-in season with our first big
cruise-in of the year on the first Saturday in April. Our monthly rod run was to the Sango Café with
several members in attendance. We are finally having some warm days, those that make you want to
get your car out and just go riding. I hope our club members can band together this year and try to
make a lot of shows and other events together. Hopefully we will have some really nice weather in the
coming days, so we need to make the very best of it. Rivers & Spires is coming up on the 18th of April,
and I hope we have a good turnout as usual for that. Some of our cars will get a chance to participate
in the Corvettes of Clarksville / Tri-Five Chevy show also being held at Rivers & Spires on the 18th of
April. All of the nearby shows can be found on our website as well as the internet
Don’t forget we need door prizes and trophy and plaque sponsorships for our car show coming up in
September. It’s better we get them early than to have to worry about them as time gets closer for the
show. Jim has been busy getting out all the renewal notices to those members who have not yet
renewed their club membership. It is important that you renew because this gives us operating capital
for the coming year, which is combined with proceeds from the annual car show to give us money we
need to do the things we do each year. Remember, if you don’t renew your club membership, your
name will be removed from the membership list, and you will not be receiving the newsletter any
more! Jim has us off to a flying start in planning for our annual car show, and I am excited about us
having another great car show in September at the Governor’s Square Mall !
Thanks for having the faith in me to be your President again this year. I promise I will do the very best
I can for the club, and to represent it honorably. I may not be able to make every event, but I will go to
as many as I can. Don’t forget the members on our prayer list. Let’s all pull together and make this a
big year for the club!
