An Italian gentleman from a town near Benevento, Leonardo Romano, has recently watched the
documentary movie about the Bosnian Pyramids on Italian TV. It hit him like lightning that he had an
identical view from the balcony of his house, a pyramid like hill covered by grass with pointed edges
and a square base.
He always was wondering what this strangely shaped hill was, but never thought of doing research.
“What is in front of your eyes every day, is of no special interest after some time”, he says. But after
having seen the Bosnian Pyramid documentary he was convinced that his town of Santa Agata dei
Goti had a pyramidal structure under one of the hills.
What convinced him even more were the pictures of the stone balls in Zavidovići in Bosnia. He also
had those balls in his garden, and found many more after scouting the surrounding area.
There is one more detail that adds to the picture. Benevento is the place were an Isis cult was
celebrated in ancient times. There are temples and grottos dedicated to the Egyptian goddess Isis.
Could the pyramid be an Egyptian copy and the Isis cult be a reminiscence to Egyptian ceremonies in
this area?

During the formative centuries of Christianity, the religion of Isis drew converts from every corner of the
Roman Empire. In Italy itself, the Egyptian faith was a dominant force. At Pompeii, archaeological
evidence reveals that Isis played a major role. In Rome, temples were built and obelisks erected in her
honour.
We are trying to get in contact with the authorities in Santa Agata dei Goti. We intend to visit the
location and do some research in order to verify the existence of the alleged pyramid and the stone
balls.
