Welcome to the Legends! As Saskatchewan’s newest 18 hole facility, we are
extremely excited for you to join us in 2015 and become part of the Legends Golf
Club history. We are honoured that you and your group have decided to join us
for your next event. Our most important priority is to present you and guests with
the utmost level of service while allowing you to enjoy your time at The Legends
and leave you with a positive lasting impression.
Unique to the Saskatchewan golfing community, The Legends will remind you of
what makes Saskatchewan golf great. With five tee decks ranging from 5200 to
7300 yards, players can decide exactly how strong their physical and mental
strength is for the day. With plenty of water hazards, rolling fairways, intimidating
fescue, and undulating greens, the Legends will challenge you in every aspect of
your game. However, Saskatchewan golfers will recognize that not all hazards
can be as treacherous as the whipping winds that can lead to some interesting
club and shot selections. And as the final putt drops, we welcome you to stop in
at The Legends restaurant where delight can be found on our spacious patio
while overlooking an amazing view of the golf course.

application and applicable deposit to the Legends Golf Club.

Tournament Policies
To confirm all tournament or corporate event dates and times we require a
$500.00 deposit to accompany the booking application form. This is fully
refundable if your event is cancelled before the 10-day confirmation deadline. If
cancellation occurs after the deadline a $250.00 administration and cancellation
fee will be retained.
To adequately prepare for your event, The Legends requires five (5) business
days’ notice of the guaranteed number of guests who will be attending. The
maximum number of golf players and meal attendees (if required) must be
conveyed on the Booking Application.
A list / draw of players and a detailed list of skill and prize holes (long drive,
closest to the pin, etc.) must be sent 48 hours days prior to the event date.
If changes are not conveyed to the Legends 5 business days prior to your
booking, then the original number or the actual number becomes your guarantee
(whichever is greater) and charges will be based on such numbers.
The Legends reserves the right to alter starting times, course rotation or format
should the number of players differ from the original booking along with the right
to provide an alternate banquet room best suited for the guarantee.
The Legends will prepare your meal for your guaranteed number plus a five
percent overage.
All rounds of golf must be accounted for. To ensure that this directive is adhered
to, all rounds, including Legends Golf Club members must be paid in full at the
appropriate fee level.
When booking a shotgun start, the Legends will require a minimum of 70 or more
participants for 18 hole weekday shotgun or 120 or more participants for an 18
hole weekend shotgun with a meal to be served before or after play.
The Legends Golf Club will not book bachelor, bachelorette or bar / lounge
sponsored events.
Group Booking Host Responsibilities during Function




The tournament coordinator or on-site contact for your event shall be responsible
for keeping order during all activities, both on and off the golf course and during
the banquet function. This includes and is not limited to ensuring that
entertainment is appropriate, that your function is not unlawful, destructive or
disruptive to other Legends guests and that your guests are contained within the
banquet space booked for your event.
Physical or verbal abuse of the Legends employees or property is strictly
prohibited. Offenders will be removed from the premises and security or police
will be notified.
The Legends reserves the right to discontinue alcohol service to any guest who
appears to be intoxicated.
The Marshal has the authority to determine the “Speed of Play”. An eighteen hole
round should take no more than 4.5 hours. Each hole should take no more than
15 minutes to play. Unacceptably slow players will be asked to play the forward
tees, or pick up and move forward without completing a hole or several open
holes to facilitate proper pace of play.

Golf course rules and proper etiquette is to be followed at all times. Appropriate
golf attire (including soft spikes) must be worn at all times, dress code will be
enforced. Each player regardless of the event format must have their own set of
golf clubs.

The Legends Golf Club will be the sole provider of all food and beverage (liquor,
beer and wine included). All Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority
Regulations must be followed. Any unauthorized product will be confiscated and
the person/s will be removed from the golf course. Bringing your own alcohol onto
the course is ILLEGAL. We have zero tolerance regarding this issue, as we risk
losing our liquor license for any breach of the existing liquor regulations. Any
requests regarding donated food and beverage must be made to our Food &
Beverage Manager at least 30 days prior to your event date. Events wanting to
include food & beverage on the golf course will be dealt with individually.
Weather


In the event of cold and/or inclement weather, group bookings and meals must go
ahead as scheduled unless the Golf Course Superintendent deems the golf
course to be unplayable. In the event of such an occurrence, the group will be
given, wherever possible, alternative days of play.
In the event the weather has forced the cancellation of a booking with food
requirements where the food has already begun to be prepared, will result in the
meal portion of the event to proceed. In the event of inclement weather and a
tournament or corporate group decides to stop playing part way through the
round, the meal function must continue. The time will be determined at the
discretion of the Food and Beverage Manager.
Power Cart Rental Agreement

As the Sponsoring organization of the tournament, we hereby (1.) agree to hold
harmless, indemnify and defend the Legends Golf Club and its owners and
agents from against any injuries and damages of any kind whatsoever to any
person or entity out of or in any way resulting from the negligence or reckless use
or operation of a power cart; (2.) agree to reimburse the Legends Golf Club for
any such injury or damage done to any power cart or property; (3.) agree to allow
any person of legal driving status to operate a power cart.
Signature of the Tournament Coordinator on the Tournament Agreement shall constitute
compliance with the Golf Cart Rental Agreement.
