Main criteria for selection of new
wheat lines in Southern Spain.
•  Yield stability (drought tolerance and high
potential). Average yield from 2 to 5 tons/ha
depending of rains (from 300 to 800 mm.)
•  Diseases Resistance (powdery mildew, septoria
leaf blotch, tan spot, leaf and yellow rust, etc.).
•  High grain quality (for bread and pasta
industry).
