Telescopes, telescope parts, eyepieces, tripods and miscellaneous accessories in various states of repair.
The sale will be held in the parking lot in front of the Observatory.

This inventory includes all major amateur astronomy items - telescopes, eyepieces, etc.
Many smaller miscellaneous items, in the nature of gears, mechanical parts, posters, and non-astronomy related, are
NOT included, but will be for sale at the event.
VMOA reserves the right to withdraw any items from the sale prior to the event.

085) Telescope, refractor, Meade “Comet Scanner” model 220, D = 50mm F = 600mm f/12. Includes tabletop fork
type tripod, Ke 22mm .96 eyepiece and eyepiece diagonal. Peep sight finder. Better than your average department store
telescope. Approximately 25” long, and 12” tall. Like new. In original (worn) packaging. $20
072) Telescope, Bushnell 450, refractor, 60 mm x 600 mm, (2.36 ", f/10) 34 - 42" tall, caps but no eyepieces (.96")
excellent condition. $25
073) Telescope, Meade refractor, model 390 (?), 90mm (3.5") f/11, alt az mount, fine adjust knobs, diagonal, 1.25"
eyepiece holder. 12mm Meade eyepiece included. Minor rust on screws, case worn and scratched, optically OK, but
cbjective dirty. No caps. $50
074) Telescope, Meade DS-114AT, Reflector, 114mm (4.5") f/8, 1.25" eyepiece holder, Alt Az mount, computerized
Go To, comes with 25mm Meade eyepiece. Objective cap, no eyepiece cap or plug. Overall clean and in good
condition. One clam-shell strap is broken and the power supply (12 V battery pack) is missing. $50
083) Telescope Orion ShortTube 114mm (4.5″) EQ Reflector, f/8.8, Super condition, complete, working, 48" tall. 2x
1.25" EP, coated Kellners 25mm and 10mm. .96" EP adapter. Fitted with Telrad finder, padded carrying case. $200
079) Telescope Celestron G-5 Schmidt-Cassegrain, 127mm (5") f/10 1.25" eyepiece holder. OTA w/ diagonal and
finder, Celestron 25mm SMA wide angle eyepiece. Clean, little used. No tripod or mount. $250
076) Telescope Meade LX10 Schmidt-Cassegrain 203mm (8") f10, 1.25" eyepiece holder. Optics need cleaning.
Appears to have had a drive motor upgrade, condition uncertain. Finder scope, diagonal, wedge, controls and tripod. No
eyepieces. $300
077) Telescope Meade LX10 Schmidt-Cassegrain 203mm (8") f10, 1.25" eyepiece holder. Very good condition.
Appears complete. Finder scope, diagonal, controls, dew shield, wedge and tripod. Meade 26mm Plossl. $600
075) Telescope Meade LXD-75 SN-10 Schmidt-Newtonian relector 245mm (10") f/4, 2" eyepiece holder, equatorial
mount with counter weights, Antares finder scope. Overall very good condition. Cover of dec drive appears to have
crack and been repaired. Tripod leg spreader broken (replaced with temp wood replacement). Optics very clean. $950.
70) Telescope tube, 12-3/4 ID, 14-1/2 OD, 57-3/4" long. Wood with aluminum rings on the ends. Nice workmanship.
With some minor restoration it could be a thing of beauty. Has a hole cut in it for a 2" focuser and several other small
screw hole from prior use. No optics or hardware - just the tube. $50
084) Telescope Homemade 8" (?) perforated reflector. Massive cast and welded EQ structure. Has primary and
secondary installed, finder and drive mechanism appears to be an unfinished. $80
080) Telescope Striking Sparks Newtonian Dob parts, designed for 6" f/8. Complete EXCEPT objective mirror, mirror
cell and eyepieces. 2 available. $20 each

061) Tripod 43" tall, wood. Equatorial with counter weight. Strap mount for approx 5" dia tube. Very sturdy, some rust,
but otherwise good condition. $10
062) Tripod 41" tall, wood, modified with "barn door tracker" for wide field night sky photography. Rusty and dusty,
but appears to be in working order. Motor runs. Standard 1/4-20 camera mount stud. $15
063) Tripod legs 29" overall (collapsed), wood. Rusty, but functional. $3
066) Tripod 33 - 43" tall, black painted wood. EQ with counter weight. Working fine adjust on both axes. Rusty. $10
067) Tripod 36 - 46 tall, aluminum, equatorial, 1/4-20 camera mount stub mount plate currently attached is removable.
Working fine adjust on both axes. Flex shafts for fine adjust are not shown, but are included. In good condition. $30
086) Tripod, Equatorial with fine adjust, all metal 38 - 48" tall. Includes counterweight. Excellent condition. $45
068) Tripod 54" tall max, aluminum, alt az, 3 segment telescoping legs, gear driven alt axis. "Samson Quick Set",
camera mount. Very sturdy. Excellent condition. $50
069) Equatorial mount for 6" OTA, homemade, painted plywood with metal fittings. A little rusty and dusty, but
serviceable. $2
