Serra Club of Houston hosts
Bishop Camillo Ballin of
Northern Arabia
Serra Club of Houston recently hosted
Bishop Camillo Ballin, the Roman
Catholic Vicar Apostolic of the Apostolic
Vicariate of Northern Arabia. Bishop
Ballin is the local Bishop shepherding
the 1.2 million Roman Catholics in
Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi
Arabia. Bishop Ballin offered Mass and
then joined members for our monthly 1st Friday lunch. Bishop
shared with members the challenges, joys, and hopes of serving
the people of God in Northern Arabia. Pray for him, Catholics in
the region, and for success as he seeks to build a new
Cathedral Center that will become a place of formation, prayer,
and pilgrimage. Be sure to attend our next First Friday
gathering on April 4!
