Reduction of lipid production
The dual effect of affiporeTM on lipid production was evaluated:
It inhibits the differentiation of the sebocytes.
It modulates lipogenesis by decreasing the amount of lipids.
In vivo efficacy
Comparative test with the following protocol: 20 volunteers with oily skin, between 35 and 70 years old. affiporeTM 3% was applied
on half of the face, twice a day for 28 days; on the other half, placebo fomulation was applied.
Seboregulating effect
Evaluation of the sebum regulating effect produced by affiporeTM, compared to placebo and D0:
Average reduction of 13%.
Up to a maximum of 42%.
Decrease of 24% in the first quartile.
