Investigators pursue motive
behind Fort Hood shootings
FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) —
The soldier who killed three
people at Fort Hood may have
argued with another service
member prior to the attack,
and investigators believe his
unstable mental health contributed to the rampage,
authorities said yesterday.

Gen. Mark Milley, said there

residents are seeking the
city’s help to make an
underpass on South Liberty Street a little brighter.
Larry Macri told city
council last week, “We
have a issue with the
lighting. We cannot see
under that underpass. It’s
a safety issue.”
“Nobody seems to take
responsibility,” for the
underpass, he said.
He asked whether the
city, CSX Railroad or the
Pennsylvania Department
of Transportation is
responsible. Macri noted
that South Liberty Street is
a state highway.
“All we’re asking for is
if the city can get us some
lighting.”
Macri said there was
pedestrian lighting at the
underpass previously.
He also pointed out that
the walls of the underpass
are corroding and the
sidewalks are broken. He
said he has seen people
sleeping beneath the
underpass.
Anna Lepore Conte said
the residents will find out
who is responsible.
“We will be relentless in
going after them,” she
said.
“We want the city and
(county) commissioners to
help us fight this fight.”

the availability of physicians
to Jameson.
The joint venture, named
