Welcome Shlenker School Families,
Epicurean Group, LLC is delighted to offer a variety of exceptionally delicious and healthy foods, prepared fresh
daily in our kitchen and served directly to you at The Shlenker School. We celebrate our “Sweet 16th” year serving
Shlenker families, and each family that we serve is important to us. Whether you just need to be assured that your
student eats a balanced and nutritious lunch each day, or consider yourself a “foodie” - we are happy to have
you and your family enjoy our brand of foods!

We want you to be confident that the quality of the food service program is our top priority to students, families and
the administration of The Shlenker School. We look to earn your support and belief in the program, creating
“EPICUREAN FANS” within The Shlenker School community!
To achieve this, Epicurean Group provides food that is real food, made from scratch with few exceptions - food that
your children will trust, is delicious, and is always a healthy and nutritious choice. Further, we make available a wide
variety of foods that encourage students to explore and try new tastes and textures.
How lunch works – IT’S EASY!

Our friendly and professionally trained service staff greets your student as they walk through the line to
purchase items of their choice; the student’s purchases are totaled at checkout.
Debit account - Simply register for a lunch account
Account Management and Customer Service are built into our program. Parents receive a weekly
statement of total amount spent for the week, via e-mail.
Cash is welcome at the point of purchase on an “as needed” or desired basis
Hot Lunch and a la Carte menus are published at the beginning of the school year. With few modifications,
exceptions, or additions, the menus remain the same all year.
We know, respect and respond to our customers. Please contact Epicurean Group regarding accounting,
purchases made by students, monitoring of accounts, or for special dietary needs.
Information on registering your student is included in your school’s summer mailing packet.

Serving Houston area private schools for nineteen years
Epicurean Delight was founded in the early 1980’s as a full service catering company, serving corporate
and private events.
Epicurean Lite developed and evolved as one of Houston’s first and longest operating healthy food and
take-out services. Recognizing from overall health and wellness information, we believe that wholesome
“clean” foods are important in our daily diet. Epicurean Lite meals are free of trans fats, MSG, pesticides,
HFCS, preservatives and additives. Our menu is published weekly on our website.
Epicurean Group contracts with private schools, companies and facilities desiring daily or regular service.
Programs include breakfast, lunch and dinner service, seven days a week.
Epicurean Group serves children from Early Childhood programs through 12th grade.
We provide a balanced daily hot lunch entrée as well as a wide variety of a la carte options from which
students, faculty, staff and guests may select every day. School menus are available on our website.
We stand behind our food 100%. If you are not satisfied with your meal,
Epicurean Group will credit you and your next meal is on us!
