FINDING THE RIGHT CHAIR
Consider the following to help select the right chair.
Will it be a primary work chair?
Look for a work chair with ergonomic features that support healthy postures and reduce physical stress during
long periods of sitting. Does the chair encourage movement? Does it have a range of adjustments to
accommodate diverse individuals? Is it easy to adjust?
Will the chair be shared?
Look for a chair that can accommodate multiple users and fit the purpose of the space. Will the seating be used
for a team room, conference room, classroom, guest seating, or casual meeting place?
Look for seating that can turn any space into a place to gather, meet, wait, or relax. Some of the brightest ideas
happen away from a desk. The seating you choose can inspire everything from a fun hangout space to a sleek,
sophisticated space … or anything in between.
What about cost?
Initial costs are easy to determine. But what about long-term costs? You’ll find long-term value in the chair’s
