At Stonehenge Cycles we have produce this brochure to give our customers some great value builds on the best
road frames the world has to offer. We are always looking for unique products that balance the best performance
with drop dead gorgeous looks and a passion for riding that is second to none. And here we believe we have
found them. We have chosen the best and most popular kit and combined it together in builds that offer fantastic
value with no compromise in performance.
How does it work?
On the next page you will find a list of the build kits that we offer, we can custom build to any
specification but we feel these kits give the best performance with ultimate value. They are broken down into 4
Levels, starter – excellent value pack designed to maximize the custom build experience with out breaking the
bank, Premium Build – the same fantastic value for money as the starter but with an upgraded wheelset, Ultimate
build – designed to give the highest performance with the best value for money, and Dream – The highest
specification to make your cycling dreams come true, balancing ultimate performance at a great price. Choose
which build kit best suits your needs.
As you flick through the brochure the frames are categorized by brand and each individual model is given a 2 page
spread. The first page is dedicated to information about the frame and the prices of different builds. The second
page is given over to a geometry chart and further technical info on the frames.
Once you choose the frame you want match it to the build kit you chose earlier. You will then have the choice of
which groupset is available.
We have options from all the major manufacturers. Shimano, Campagnolo and Sram and at all different levels.
Once you have matched the groupset to the frame and the finishing kit you will have your final price. The price
includes building and all fitting and offers a fantastic discounted price over buying the bits separately. This price is
also available over 24 months 0% finance, with a 25% deposit.
All our prices include the chosen products, test rides (where possible), organic fit sessions with our fitting expert,
Building of the bike, 6 week service to check over the bike.

Cervélo invented the aero road
frame, and continues to lead the
category. Aero road frames are the
most difficult frames to design, as
they have to be everything in one:
aero, light, stiff, comfortable.
Cervélo has worked to optimize this
balance between the various
requirements since its inception 13
years ago.
Outstanding aerodynamics – Airfoil shapes designed by Cervélo for bicycle speeds, not for airplanes. Features that work, no aero
gimmicks that work on a TT bike but not on a road bike.
Light, but efficient – Sub-1000g yet with an exclusive Cervélo lay-up design to create class-leading stiffness in the bottom bracket
(for efficient power transfer) and in torsion (for excellent handling)
Vertically compliant – Seatstays as thin as on the R3, but rotated 90 degrees and reshaped for aerodynamics. Light, comfortable
and aero, the best in aero road bike engineering.
Perfect balance – Aero, light, stiff and comfortable, the S3 works. Several companies make aero road bikes, but only the Cervélo
aero road bikes were used extensively at the hilly Olympic road race, a testament to their balanced approach.
Aero sloping toptube – Horizontal airfoil cross section for the toptube with 1:15 thickness-to-chord ratio make even the toptube an
aero asset.
Oversized bottom bracket area – Large diameter and smooth, optimized shapes increase bottom bracket stiffness for excellent
power transfer from pedal to rear wheel.
ICS2 Internal Cable Stops – Entry through the toptube & Internal Cable Stops on the downtube combine the most aero cable
routing with the lowest friction and lowest weight solution (no excess housing inside the frame).
Flexible geometry – The 2-position seatpost (optional) allows you to put your saddle in a 76 degree seattube angle position, ideal
for the occasional triathlon. As the S3 is more aero than most of the full TT bikes on the market, this offers great triathlon
performance without the need for a second bike. Of course, for regular triathlon use, a triathlon bike is still a better choice, thanks
to the 78 degree seattube angle and dedicated triathlon geometry.

Cervelo S3 2009 – Geometry
Team CSC has long used Cervélo’s slippery frames for
road stages with well-known success and other
companies have more recently gotten into the game.
No custom Cervélo is needed even for the most demanding pros, that’s our
conclusion after supporting hundreds of the world’s best athletes. The reason we
don’t need customs where other bike companies do lies in our unique reach-based
geometry. For an exhaustive explanation on why 6 Cervélo sizes fit more people
than 12 “normal” sizes
Note 1: The standover height is measured to the toptube directly above the bottom
bracket.
Note 2: The above headtube lengths are for integrated headsets. To compare to
non-integrated headtubes, deduct 20mm from the above lengths to adjust for the
stack height needed for non-integrated headsets.
73 Degree Seattube Angle (rear facing seatpost position)

The S2 is the next generation of the Soloist
Carbon, which already had the reputation
for being the ultimate pro bike: not
surprising, given its long list of victories. But
it is maybe even more useful at the other
end of the spectrum, giving an “unfair”
advantage to those who just need a little bit
more to hang on to their weekend rides. We
know, because Cervélo co-founders Phil and
Gerard are squarely in that category, and
both own S2s.
“This year Team CSC have benefitted from arguably the most
sophisticated bike in the pro peloton” - CycleSport
Outstanding aerodynamics – Airfoil shapes designed by Cervélo for bicycle speeds, not for airplanes. Features that work, no aero
gimmicks that work on a TT bike but not on a road bike.
No compromise - Extremely aerodynamic yet among the lightest frames in the pro peloton and with excellent stiffness &
compliance properties.
Aero sloping toptube – Horizontal airfoil cross section for the toptube with 1:15 thickness-to-chord ratio make even the toptube an
aero asset.
Stealth aero headtube – Hourglass shape on the sides allow for aero cross section without the need for a nose on the headtube.
Oversized bottom bracket area – Large diameter and smooth, optimized shapes increase bottom bracket stiffness for excellent
power transfer from pedal to rear wheel.
ICS Internal Cable Stops - Cervélo’s standard setting cable routing system. Easy to install, easy to service, easy to keep clean and
improved aerodynamics.
Flexible geometry – The 2-position seatpost (optional) allows you to put your saddle in a 76 degree seattube angle position, ideal
for the occasional triathlon. As the S3 is more aero than most of the full TT bikes on the market, this offers great triathlon

“Tour-winning bike” would be an easy way to get
your attention (and I guess we just did), but
that’s not so relevant. What is relevant is that the
rider, Carlos Sastre, can’t imagine riding anything
else. And that the world’s toughest magazine test
from TOUR in Germany clearly show the R3 SL to
be the best combination of stiffness, low weight
and comfort.
Add to that the impact strength and incredible
fatigue life (passing out internal tests, which are
several times higher than the industry levels) and
it is clear why the R3 SL is a favorite among
consumers and reviewers alike. And why riders
are chomping at the bit to join our new Cervélo
TestTeam
Squoval downtube & chainstays - Optimized for the highest possible stiffness-to-weight ratio (STW).
Multi-shape toptube - Squoval at both ends and oval in the middle to counter the complex loads.
Oversized bottom bracket area – Large diameter and smooth, optimized shapes increase bottom bracket stiffness for excellent
power transfer from pedal to rear wheel.
Lay-up optimization – In theory, 90Msi ultra-high modulus carbon is great. Extremely stiff, you only need very little of it to make a
stiff frame. Unfortunately, it is near impossible to work with and not very strong, so you can’t use it everywhere in the frame and
most factories cannot use it at all. That’s why only two bike companies use it in their frames. Cervélo is one of them, in select areas
of the R3 SL and the S3.
Ultra thin seatstays - With the Squoval chainstays resisting forces so effectively, the seatstays can be very minimalist. By making
them wide but thin, they resist rear triangle torsion while providing vertical compliance. In other words, the rear triangle is stiff
where it needs to be for efficient power transfer from pedal to rear wheel, but compliant where it can add rear wheel tracking and
comfort. Thus the small seatstays save weight, without any compromise.
Upgrades from R3 Lighter frame – We don’t like to talk about weights, as many other manufacturers have
made a mockery of it with outlandish claims. If weight is important to you, ignore claimed weights, have your dealer weigh the
.
frames and see how light the R3 SL is compared to its competitors in the real world

Cervelo R3 SL 2009 – Geometry
Cervélos fit better. In the end that is the main reason why they have become the
most popular time trial & triathlon bike in history. Of course we have unparalleled
aerodynamic know-how, and the frames offer great power transfer and handling.
But the most important reason why people are comfortable and fast on Cervélos is
that they fit properly.
1) It puts the handlebars and saddle in the right position relative to the bottom
bracket very easily in its standard set-up, making it easy to find a fast and
comfortable position.
2) It offers a very wide range of positioning option thanks to the seatpost design
and the different headtube lengths between the P1/P2 and the P3/P4. This allows
our customers with a not-so-standard fit to take advantage of Cervélo’s superb
aerodynamic and handling performance without any need to go custom.

Two wins at Paris-Roubaix, one second.
That’s the R3’s unparalleled record in
the world’s toughest bike race. But to
the pro team mechanics, more
incredible than the victories is the fact
there has never been any mechanical
issue with an R3, even though it is the
lightest frame to be used in that race. In
a race where every manufacturer lies
awake worrying the night before, that’s
simply unheard of. Yet the R3 is much
more than just a Paris-Roubaix frame.
Lay-up optimization – Approximately 300 pieces of carbon, each optimized in shape, fiber type and fiber direction.

Best Plush Bike” - Bicycling Awards
“True performance for riders with
limited flexibility” - Bicycling Australia
Race performance is guaranteed, as it is
based on the same platform as the R3,
two-time winner of Paris-Roubaix. But
its geometry allows for a higher
handlebar position, which makes it a
better fit for a lot of riders, even some
of the pros.
Squoval downtube & chainstays - Optimized for the highest possible stiffness-to-weight ratio (STW).
Multi-shape toptube - Squoval at both ends and oval in the middle to counter the complex loads.

Lay-up optimization – Approximately 300 pieces of carbon, each optimized in shape, fiber type and fiber direction.
Leaf spring Seatstays - Unparalleled vertical compliance thanks to their leaf spring design.
Higher handlebar geometry – Same handling philosophy as our other road bikes, but with longer headtube for those who prefer a
higher handlebar position, and longer chainstay length to keep the weight distribution balanced.
Special XS size – The new XS size completely eliminates toe-overlap.

Cervelo RS 2009 – Geometry
You will notice three geometric changes on the RS.
Longer headtube, to match the higher handlebar position.
Longer chainstay length. Because a higher handlebar position rotates the rider’s
torso and therefore his center of gravity backwards. Longer chainstays ensure the
weight distribution between the two wheels remains balanced for optimal handling
characteristics.
Eliminated toe-overlap by using 650c wheels for the XS size. Toe overlap is not a
problem for experienced riders, but can be intimidating for some. Using 650c
wheels in the XS size is the only way to solve this problem without compromising
the weight distribution and thus handling. Every solution that eliminates toeoverlap but keeps 700c wheels suffers in handling.
Explanation for the 650c wheel solution on the XS size: A smaller frame means the
front wheel moves closer to the rider’s feet, causing toe-overlap. While
inconvenient at walking pace, this issue disappears at normal riding speeds as the
actual steering angles become very small.
There are four ways to deal with this:
1) Accept toe overlap, after all it is not a problem if the rider is aware of it at low
speeds, and it does not occur at higher speeds.
2) Use 650c wheels, which allow us to move the wheel closer but thanks to its smaller
diameter it will never touch the rider’s toes.
3) Leave the front wheel far out front, but then the weight distribution will not be
balanced.
4) Mess up the rider position by moving the rider forward instead of the wheel and
handlebar rearward. But a changed position will not be comfortable, and the weight
distribution will again be compromised.
Compromised weight distribution and therefore handling make options 3 and 4
unacceptable, leaving options 1 & 2. If you are a racer and neutral support is
important, or you want commonality of parts with other 700c bikes, then option 1 is
the best solution. We offer this on most of our road bikes. Option 2 is a great solution
if you are concerned about toe overlap, never need neutral support and carry a spare
for yourself (since your riding partners will likely have only 700c spare tubes,
although even those work in a pinch, just fold them in – no problem).

The name is very promising. HOC is in fact
the acronym of HORS CATEGORY, which
means a race, or a bicycle, that is one of a
kind or beyond category. Like all Bianchi
models, it features a geometry conceived
from the extreme research of the
lightnessperformances ratio. It is ideal for
the most evolved and demanding of rider.
As used by the fantastic pro team Barloworld, 928 Carbon superleggera
1949, 1952, 1998. These are the years in which Bianchi won both the Giro and the Tour.
The last digits, together, compose the name of a range of unique bicycles. The 928 Carbon SL
frame is stiff, reactive and light, it weighs only 900 g and is made of unidirectional carbon fibre,
with the most advanced production processes, including nanotechnology. The new Full Carbon
fork, also in unidirectional carbon, features an internal structural reinforcement (TSR) which
increases its lateral stiffness, weighing only 315 g.

Using Toray M40J, the most advanced carbon fibre for bicycles, Orbea have created a frame that is lighter
and stiffer than any bike they have ever made. The Orca’s size-specific tubing (which offers different
shapes, thicknesses and lengths of tubing for each size in the range) has a “nerve” that runs the length of
the frame to maximize stiffness and maintain a silky smooth ride.
Ridden to an Olympic gold medal in Beijing by Basque rider Samuel Sanchez, the next-gen Orca performed
to the expectations of the team of skilled designers who took an award-winning design and made it better.
Orca was the first of our bikes to be built using Orbea’s proprietary Size Specific Nerve (SSN) technology,
which utilizes specific design characteristics for each frame size, making the ride quality consistent from the
smallest to largest rider. A higher percentage of Toray’s premium M40J carbon fiber made Orca lighter, but
with a 20% increase in bottom bracket stiffness. Paired with Orca’s complex tube shaping the result is a
bike with great visual lines and incredible road feel. Truly the best racing machine available, with a lifetime
warranty to back it up

As Ridden by the fantastic Alejandro Valverde , the Pinarello Prince is the perfect representation of a
bicycles core belief, performance and form. Not only is this Italian Made beauty gorgeous on the eye the
bike is whippet like out of the traps and corners like it is on a track. Dependable and excitable a unusual
mix but one that is perfect for this Velo.
The Prince returns, to claim the throne. Developed through CAD after countless hours of input derived from
research, power tests and wind tunnel evaluations, the Prince was then refined through road tests and
tweaked to perfection by our designers. On the road the Prince takes riding to whole new level. It's faster
through curves, more secure on technical descents and more explosive in aggressive sprints, such that it
blasts out of corners overcoming the interrupted rhythms of racing.
Frame: Full 50HM1K carbon.
Fork: Onda FPX carbon fork.
Components: Supplied with carbon seatpost.
Options: We can build almost any bike you want based on the Prince frameset.

As used in 2008 by Mark Cavendish and
the Team Columbia and for 2009 by
Team Rabobank the Giant Road bikes
have been one of the most successful
teams in the world. Propelling many
riders to victories for many years, the
TCR has continued to push the
boundaries it set when it first entered the
road bike arena. Its striking good looks
are coupled with a value that is second
to none. Using T700 carbon fibre leads
the market with its carbon construction.
As ridden by Cavendish to his 4 Tour de France stage victories this bike has everything it needs to be a
legend. Stunning with its simplicity, an understated technical elegance when compared to the over
indulgent Pinarello Prince. This stealthy beast stalks it prey and flies past them when the time is right. The
carbon is second to none and according to the scientific tests this really is the best of all worlds.
