March is finally here and spring is just around the corner. It’s nice to see the temperatures in the 60’s finally.
Be sure to RSVP and purchase your tickets for the St.
Patrick’s party and casino coming up Saturday, March
15th. This is always a great party with great food and
entertainment.
The spring work party is coming up on Saturday March
22nd. Please be sure to mark your calendar. You need
to attend at least one of the work parties for the year,
or you will be charged a missed work party fee.
Richland Yacht Club is also having a Classic Rock Out
Party on March 29th. Flyer is attached to this
Greg Hammer newsletter.
As a reminder again, please be sure to get your insurance policies for your boat and/or
boathouse to the club so we can keep them on record.
Thanks to Mark Cope for taking the traveling CIYC Burgee to Cabo .
Happy Boating……Dan
CIYC NEW MEMBER
Please welcome new member, Joe & Pat Loera, voted in at the March 2014
general membership meeting.
Members are responsible for security around the club, if you see anyone you don’t recognize, introduce
yourself and find out who they are. Do not loan out your keys to anyone, guests are allowed on the docks
only when you are present, you are responsible for your guests.
If the dumpster is full, DO NOT stack garbage in front of the dumpster, the garbage driver will not move it
and it just gets spread all around the dumpster area creating a big mess. If you find the dumpster is full
please take your trash to the dumpster near the boat ramp.
Please keep your dogs on a leash at all times around the club and on the docks. Also please clean up after
your pet!
Please use the metal, heavy duty dock carts (located in the haul out) for any construction materials or debris. The fiberglass and plastic dock carts are not meant for the heavy construction use. Please clean out
any debris from the carts after you use them. Remember to return the carts to the top of the ramp immediately after using them.

Past Events in February:
February 2, 2014, The Chili Cook-off and Super Bowl Party, Hosted by Buxbaum, Bowens and Kuga.
Joyce headed up this spectacular event…and very well organized with the Bowens and Kugas help, they turned out a
feast with all the members side dishes and the wonderful Chili from the participants of the Cook off event. This was
followed by THE SUPERBOWL with the main attraction, the 12th Man and the SEAHAWKS.
First place Chili was presented to Art Marino, one of Mark Copes guests.
Second Place went to Kathie Bunn
Third Place went to Wendy McCue
The Super Bowl was even more terrific because the 12th man was here in the club house to support the Seahawks…
Unfortunately the Broncos were a no show!!!
