WHAT TO EXPECT AT AIRPOWER16
Welcome to Austria‘s biggest ever airshow. AIRPOWER16 will be playing host to over 240 aircraft
from 20 nations and promises a packed programme of events for the entire family.
Air display
(Flying Display, 9am–6pm)
Air displays by the Armed Forces, The Flying Bulls,
various international aircraft and seven European
aerobatic display teams – including Frecce Tricolori
and Patrouille de France. Plus: the Red Bull Aces
Exhibition.
Ground-based aircraft show
(Static Display)
From the F-16 to the Chinook: up close and personal
with aircraft from all over the world, including
almost all of the aircraft and helicopters in service
with the Armed Forces between 1955 and today.
New for 2016: special-themed areas for tiger-liveried
aircraft, jets, warbirds and The Flying Bulls.
Sit in a Eurofighter
Be the envy of all your friends with a selfie in a
full-scale replica of the Eurofighter Typhoon.
Meet & Greet with the stars
Thomas Morgenstern and the athletes of the Red
Bull Aces Exhibition invite you to an autograph signing (please listen for loud speaker announcements
and keep an eye on the video wall).
Air surveillance at work
This special exhibition lifts the lid on air surveillance.
Plus: the airshow debut of the Armed Forces‘ most
modern radar system, the RAT-31 DL/M.
Meeting point for model-making friends
Next to the air surveillance exhibition: miniatures
of historic aircraft by model-making society IPMS
Austria and the chance to fly a model helicopter.
Free admission to
Militärluftfahrtmuseum
The 5,000 m2 aircraft museum on the AIRPOWER
show ground is home to 27 military aircraft and
special exhibitions on 60 years of the Air Defence
Battalion of the Austrian Armed Forces and the
history of motorcycle racing in Zeltweg.

The supervised kids‘ area is an action-packed and
fun-filled area and is priced at just EUR 5 per child.
