A CERC TRIBUTE TO PRESIDENT GIL OPALESKI
Our CERC President, Gilbert J. Opaleski, passed away on February 10, 2016 at age 83.
Gil served the CERC for many years; 2 as Vice-President (2003-2004) , and 11 as President ( 2005 -2015). Gil
did an outstanding job directing the CERC and communicating with the GM Retiree Relations Group at the
Rencen, organizing presentations from GM for our luncheons. He kept the club leadership focused and
organized and will be sorely missed.
