WELCOME NEW CHAMBER MEMBER
Peoria Audubon Society
The Peoria Audubon chapeter was founded in 1930 in conjunction with the Peoria Academy
of Sciences. It is also an affiliate of the Illinois Audubon Society.
This group is working with Ducks Unlimited on the Chillicothe Bottoms project on the North
end of Chillicothe.
Mr. Mike Miller of the Forest Park Nature Center in Peoria Heights is our main contact and
we are looking forward to working with them on the nature preserve projects here in Chillicothe.

Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce celebrated its businesses with the 70th
Annual Awards Banquet. This year was “Pay It Forward” with organizations
in the community donating centerpieces that were auctioned off.
Awards were also given out to the 2015 Past President, Organization of the
Year, Member of the Year, and Business of the Year.
