Dear Sewing Friends,
I can hardly believe it’s been 20 years since we began the sewing expo! My family and I have enjoyed every year
and every expo. Our daughters, Jessica and Carla were in middle school when we began this journey and now
have families of their own. Jessica is ASE Director of Sales and Carla helps with technical support.
My husband, John and son-in-law, Eric (who started helping even before he became an official member of the
family), are irreplaceable as the muscle and technical team for the classrooms. My parents, Carl and Dorothy
have also helped with every event and even traveled across the state for several years delivering brochures.
My brother, sister-in-law and nephew work to make the registration desk operate smoothly every day. My
cousin, Charles Islander helps us produce this brochure and others as well as serves as the show photographer
and he comes each year all the way from Oregon. So as you can see ASE is truly a family affair, and we love producing such a creative
environment of sewing enthusiasm and education.
I know you are going to enjoy our biggest and best efforts to date at the 20th anniversary of American Sewing Expo.
Thank you to each and every one who attends ASE, we appreciate you!
Sincerely Sew,
Tips for attending the expo: wear walking shoes, bring patterns and fabric swatches for shopping, bring address labels for adding to
mailing lists and entering prize drawings, bring a notebook and pen for class and demo notes and bring your smart phone and/or camera.
