 OLIVAREZ COLLEGE College of Business Administration Monthly Accomplishment Report For the Month of December, 2013 Schedules (A-­‐E) IBAC Seminar December 5 Twelve BSBA-­‐Marketing Management Graduating students joined the OC representatives who attended the 2013 International Business and Academe Conference (IBAC) at Robinsons Movieworld Galleria, Ortigas City last December 5, 2013. Two groups from BSBA of the OC representatives were able to present their feasibility studies in the conference which was attended by different schools, colleges and universities in Metro Manila. Presented their papers were Mr. Mark Vincent Barcebal and Ms. Lorelie Castil for their Pinoy Pride Stuff Chicken while Ms. Jay Anne Mandato and Ms. Maria Elaine Ramos presented their paper entitled Servicio de Limpieza. They were accompanied and assisted by their adviser and department head, Mrs. Lorna C. Condes. While others are watching the paper presentation of students coming from other schools and colleges, other representatives were in the conference hall to listen to other paper presentations of professors and special guests. The BSBA Student Representatives attended the 2013 International Business and Academe Conference last December 5, 2013 at the Robinson’s Movieworld Galleria. They were able to present in the conference their feasibility studies. Together with them was their adviser and department head, Mrs. Lorna C. Condes. MONTHLY ACCOMPLISHMENTS REPORT, DECEMBER SY-­‐2013-­‐2014 Page 1 Opening of Intramurals December 5 The College of Business Administration through its students’ organization Team Negosyatne participated in the opening of the Annual Intramurals last December 5, 2013, at the OC Gymnasium. The intramural will end on January 24 during the OC’s 38th foundation celebration. TN will join and compete with other students’ organizations in different sports categories like basketball, volleyball for men and ladies, badminton, swimming, billiards, chess, and table tennis. During the opening ceremony, the business’ bet for Miss Intrams, Ms. Amparo Jimenez was among the top three finalists. MONTHLY ACCOMPLISHMENTS REPORT, DECEMBER SY-­‐2013-­‐2014 Page 2 Love Gift Giving: TN’s Christmas Party with Kids December 8 TEAM NEGOSYANTE held their “Love Gift Giving on Christmas” to the kids last December 7, 2013 at the Ascension of our Lord Parish Church at Goodwill 2 Sucat Paranaque City. The gift giving Christmas party was attended and participated by 80 children ages 2 to 10 years old from the urban poor area of Manggahan Site in Sucat. The party was headed by the TN officers and volunteers who were accompanied and supervised by their adviser and department head, Mrs. Lorna C. Condes. It was also witnessed by Father Jolan Landero , the parish priest of the Ascension of Our Lord Paris , and Bro. Sherwin Magdayao, the coordinator of the Kids Sunday School. The Team conducted games, gave gifts and surprises to the kids. They also prepared and served food to the kids. . The Team Negosyante during the “Love Gift Giving Christmas Party” at the Ascension of our Lord Parish given to the Kids Sunday School last December 7, 2013, at Goodwill 2 Subdivision, Sucat Paranaque City. They conducted games, gave gifts and served food to the kids. MONTHLY ACCOMPLISHMENTS REPORT, DECEMBER SY-­‐2013-­‐2014 Page 3 General Students Christmas Party/I Recycle Contest December 19 Last December 19, 2013, Olivarez College held its General Students Christmas Party at the OC Gymnasium. “Glow in the Dark” was the motif of the Christmas party. Dance competition was the highlight of the celebration where the Team Negosyante of the College of Business Administration brought home the bacon. They were declared champion in the dance competition winning P5,000.00. In addition, the Team Negosyante bagged also the title for winning the “I Recycle” competition sponsored by the SSG. It was awarded during the students Christmas party. Their entry was a lantern made up of recycled plastic noodle cups and soft drink taps mounted on the star made of bamboo. The party was attended by students of different courses, faculty members, heads and deans. Team Negosyante during the Christmas Dance Competition where they bagged the Championship title winning P5,000.00. They also won the “I Recycle” competition. Prepared by: Mrs. LORNA C.
