CONVERSION / UPGRADING COAST GUARD VESSELS - NORDKAPP CLASS
RADAR SYSTEMS FOR HELICOPTER CONTROL REPLACED AND UPGRADED.
The main reason for the upgrading was the change from Lynx helicopters to the larger and more
advanced NH 90 helicopters.

• Helicopter deck reinforcing and lengthening
• New heating cables in, and plating under the helicopter deck.

• New stabiliser systems installation
• Installation of NBC ventilation
• Installation of new fresh water separator
