components. Seals made from PUR
are seamless, they fit perfectly and
are long-lasting. They are foamed
directly into the plastic component in
a fully automatic manner by means of
a separate CNC-controlled system –
reproducible and reliable.
Pöppelmann offers everything from
one single source – plastic component
plus seal. The advantages can
clearly be seen. On the one hand,
the respective requirements can
be implemented constructively and
directly during the design development
phase. As a result, fully functional
trial samples can be produced timely
and cost-effectively as early as in the
prototype phase. It is precisely this
phase of the project that decides how
successful the sealing function will
be. Besides this, thanks to the toolindependent production of seals, the
seal channel can be adjusted by simple
reprogramming. This saves time,
especially during serial production
launch. On the other hand, additional
services are no longer required as
Pöppelmann concludes everything inhouse. One partner. One component.
