Gear-up with Halfords this June!
Halfords is offering a FREE one-hour
workshop for schools this June to teach
pupils in their final year of primary school
basic bike maintenance.
Run at your school, the workshop is the
perfect way for pupils to learn all about cycle
safety and how to keep their bike
in tiptop shape! It will also give pupils loads
more confidence and independence when
out riding.
The workshop includes:
• How to find and fix a puncture, put a chain
back on, adjust a saddle/handlebars and
cycling hazards to avoid
• Fun downloadable activities and ongoing
support to help pupils learn all about bikes
• Money-off vouchers to help pupils with bike
purchases, cycle accessories and safety
equipment
• A competition for pupils to win a bike of their
choice as well as free cycle helmets for their
classmates
• A certificate of achievement on completion of
the workshop
Book a Gear-UP! workshop
Places are limited to one workshop for up
to 30 pupils per school and are available in
June on a first-come, first-served basis.
