Manufacturing and assembly of precision drilling
machines,
lathes,
knee–type
milling
machines
and special machines in newly–built production halls
was launched.
The first numeric–controlled machine was manufactured
in TOS KUŘIM. The first steps towards automated
control of linear axes on machines were taken back
in 1958.
ALTA a.s., which had a significant role in the export
activities of TOS KUŘIM – OS, a.s., became 100% owner
in 2005.

Expansion of production capacities in TOS KUŘIM enabled transferring the production of its affiliate company ČKD BLANSKO–OS. The joint venture of the two companies is a unique production company with a broad portfolio of available machines
and a strong technological background. The result is higher efficiency of development
and production activities.
Ongoing research and development enables the company to introduce unique technological solutions and innovations. Quality, reliability and creativity are reflected
in the company’s modern design and innovative products.

Machinery production in ČKD BLANSKO traces
its beginnings to the times of the industrial revolution
in Europe. It was launched in the 1820s. Machinery
production was related to local iron ore mining.
The national enterprise ČKD BLANSKO was founded.
Metallurgy and engineering operations were expanded
further. The company specialized in production of water
machines, heavy machinery and metallurgy equipment.

ČKD BLANSKO–OS, a.s. becomes part of ALTA group.
