Clyde Peeling’s Reptiland is a specialized zoo that introduces visitors to the less-loved members of the animal kingdom
in a safe, entertaining format. Venomous snakes, giant alligators, gentle tortoises, curious lizards, and colorful frogs also
await discovery on this zoological adventure. An exciting multi-media show reveals the close-up world of reptiles on the
big screen, and live animal demonstrations offer the chance to touch harmless species and interact with friendly experts.

Experience hundreds of butterflies in flight as you walk through our native
butterfly greenhouse. Guests become enveloped by hundreds of these
delicate, winged beauties as they flit from flower to flower in their lushly
landscaped habitat.

Come face-to-face with animatronic recreations of Triceratops,
Giganotosaurus, Dilophosaurus and other iconic dinosaurs as they roar, spit,
and bellow on this outdoor prehistoric trek. This Jurassic era experience also
includes a recreated paleontologist camp site complete with a fossil dig.
Our newest permanent exhibit features Komodo dragons and 400 lb.
tortoises! Island Giants is a state-of-the-art green building designed and
built in-house by Reptiland staff. This naturalistic habitat boasts live
plants, artificial mud banks, a waterfall, and re-created kill site. Touchable
castings and video footage of dragons in the wild impress children and
adults alike. Watch the dragons relax in basking spots or cool off in the
water while giant Aldabra tortoises charm audiences with their bumbling
movements and quiet grass-munching.

Reptiland’s gift shop, with more than 1,000 different items
to choose from, is its own unique destination. The Natural
Selections Gift Shop carries handmade jewelry, fair trade gift
items, and rare art from Africa, Indonesia, and South America
as well as reasonably priced toys, books, and souvenir items to
remember your trip to the zoo.
