TAX DISCLOSURE
 Contributions to this event are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
 In general, amounts paid for auction items purchased are deductible only to the extent that
purchase price exceeds the fair market value of the good purchased. For example, if an item
is listed with a value of $200.00 and you pay $250.00, $50.00 is tax deductible.
 In situations where the fair market value of the goods purchased cannot be easily
determined, such as items marked “priceless,” the minimum or starting bid amount as shown
in the catalog or bid sheet may be used as a guide to the fair market value.
 Play Mountain Place and IHEP have attempted to obtain accurate valuations of all auction
items. The valuations contained herein are estimates only and cannot be warranted for tax
purposes.
 One-of-a-kind items may be difficult or impossible to value. In the absence of any reliable fair
market value, the IRS is likely to take the position that the fair market value of the item is
equal to the purchase price. In this situation, no portion of the purchase price would be
considered a deductible charitable contribution.
 The information given here is not meant to be conclusive with respect to your personal tax
situation; we suggest you consult your personal tax representative or accountant for more
specific information.
Of course, all the money you spend at the Play Mountain Place Silent Auction goes directly to
supporting the programs of Play Mountain Place.
EXPRESS CHECK OUT
When you arrive at this swanky party, you will be asked if you are interested in Express Check
Out. Here’s what that means: You leave an impression of your credit card or a blank check with
the people at the entrance table. You spend the evening having a great time, visiting and bidding
on all the cool stuff. When the auction closes, you have the option of staying and waiting to pick
up your items (which will go more quickly because you have already paid), OR, you can leave the
party and pick up your items on the Monday or Tuesday after the party at play Mountain Place.
We will fill in your credit slip or check and your items will be ready for you to pick up. If you do not
end up with any items, your credit slip or check will be torn and returned to you in a sealed
envelope. This way, if you decide to leave early, your items will be paid for and saved for you, It’s
easy and safe! If you elect to participate in Express Check out, please do not wait until the end of
the party to do so. Thank you.
PROCEDURES
 Each Silent Auction item will have a bid sheet. The item number in this catalog (or
addendum) will correspond to the item number on the bid sheet.
 Each bid sheet will show an opening id and a minimum raise. Each successive bid must
equal or exceed the minimum increase figure stated on the bid sheet I order to constitute a
valid bid.
 To place a bid, write your FULL name (legibly) and phone number and the bid amount on the
bid sheet, on each line provided.
 If you are bidding more than once on the same item, you must print your full name and phone
number on each line where you make a bid. Arrows and notations will be disregarded.
 Please do not pace a bid unless you intend on honoring that bid. Consider your bids
carefully, please do not write your name on an item and then cross it ff at the last minute.
This gets very confusing and awkward for everyone.
 The highest bid entered on a bid sheet constitutes the winning bid.
 You must pick up, and pay for, your items at the end of the party unless you have participated
in the Express Check Out option.

Group Projects
We pride ourselves on having cool projects that the children have fully
participated in with very little adult direction or attachment. As in our
everyday work with the children, these projects evolve and change with the
children’s interests and involvement. Some want to be involved a lot,
others want to only make a splotch of paint and still others are fine with
only having their name on the piece. We honor all of their wishes and
encourage them to be a part of the process in whatever way they desire.

today through a prism of satire, popular culture and raucous stagecraft. Raw,
immediate, socially minded and always entertaining, The Gang‟s productions

The Les Paul Signature "T" wraps all of Les Paul's legendary innovation into a
sweet-looking and great-sounding instrument primed for the power and versatility
demanded by today's guitarist. The Les Paul Signature "T" is built on a foundation

Standard legendary when it first arrived six decades ago. A carved solid Grade-AA
figured maple top lends bite and articulation to the sound, while a select Genuine
Mahogany back--treated with Gibson's traditional weight relief to increase playing
comfort and enhance resonance--contributes superb warmth and depth. A solid,
quarter-sawn Genuine Mahogany neck is glued in and carved in the fast 60s
SlimTaper profile, and topped with a rich brown Grade-A Granadillo fingerboard
with 22 medium-jumbo frets and traditional trapezoid inlays. Classic Gibson
construction ensures optimum playability, too, along with traditional specs like a
24-3/4" scale length, a 1-11/16" width across the PLEK-cut Corian nut, and a 12inch fingerboard radius for smooth, easy bending.

For those of you new to this auction, a sampler is a CD that record companies put
out to give you an idea either of what they have to offer or a sampling of a larger
CD box set. They will often include the best of a set; artist or company and they
are normally sent out as publicity and are not for sale in stores. Often, they are fun
and eclectic collections, exposing one to new kinds of music and artists you might
not otherwise try. And many times there are selections on a sampler that are not
on any album. Over the years, we have expanded the definition to include singles,
long playing EP versions and other oddities.
