COMPANY BACKGROUND
Piet Boon® was founded in 1983 by the world
renowned Dutch designer and master craftsman
of the same name. Since then, the international
design company has developed to become a
global luxury lifestyle brand, with both private
and corporate clients worldwide.
Piet Boon (1958) came from a construction background to become one of the most high profile
Dutch designers. He began his career as a building contractor and master craftsman, with a love
for natural materials and signature detailing.
When Piet came to discover that his true vision
could not be fully realized without taking ownership of the total concept, he transferred his focus on functionality, comfort, timelessness and
durability to his designs. This has resulted in a
global portfolio of clients and projects.
Karin Boon (1961) joined the company in 1986
as joint business partner to lead creative direction, and in that role has been instrumental in
defining the Piet Boon® philosophy and style.
Piet Boon Styling® is a clearly recognizable interpretation of materials, textures, colors and meticulous detailing – executed with the personal
requirements of the client in mind.
Together Piet and Karin Boon steer a dynamic
and international team of architects, designers,
stylists, and artisans. Today, Piet Boon® is one
of the most high-profile Dutch multidisciplinary
design companies worldwide, delivering exterior,
interior and product design excellence for residential and corporate clients and commercial
partners.

Collection is an authentic furniture line designed
to capture the essence of the Piet Boon® style.
Launched in April 2005 during the Salone del
Mobile in Milan, the line was a logical next step for
Piet Boon®, helping us deliver on our promise of
total design concepts. Available in 22 countries,
Collection meets the style and quality requirements of our clientele, complimenting our custom
furniture designs with pieces produced in quantity.
We design furniture that is comfortable, durable
and timeless. It’s not furniture to look at, but
furniture to use; It’s built to last. Our passion for
high quality, beautiful materials and thoughtful
details, even when they aren’t visible, is the
ultimate expression of understated luxury. To
bring this vision to life, work only with a select
group of craft furniture makers who have built a
strong reputation on making high-end furniture
of the finest quality. These qualities apply to
