GHS Homecoming Parade 2015
Greenville High School Homecoming Committee would like to extend an invitation to all supporters of
the GHS Hornets, all schools, groups, businesses, organizations, individuals, etc. to participate in our
homecoming parade.

Date: Friday, October 23, 2015
Time: 4:00 p.m.
Line up: Edison Street by the courthouse
Committee Chairperson: Amy Clark
Who may enter: all supporters of GHS HORNETS
There are three (3) categories for entries:
1) GHS-students, classes, organizations, etc.
2) Other schools
3) Community- all non-high school entries
These entries must be approved by the GHS Principal Xavier Hodo
How to enter: High school entries must be submitted to Ms. Amy Clark, Room 605
Community entries:
Deliver or mail the attached entry to GHS office, 419 East Robertshaw or email the necessary
information to [email protected]
All entries are FREE!
Entry Deadline: Tuesday, October 12, 2015, no later than 4:00 p.m.
All entries MUST pick up your parade decal on Monday, October 19, 2015 by 4:30p.m.
All entries must have a decal in order to participate in the parade.
Late entries will not be accepted.
Parade regulations:
 Entries must display their support for the Hornets in some visible manner to parade
spectators (signs, banners, etc.)
 The driver of the entry should be an adult unless permission is given by Mr. Xavier
Hodo.

The size of the vehicle pulling your float must be no larger than a pickup truck. Larger
tractors and semi-trucks will be strictly prohibited as they have presented a safety
hazard to students and smaller cars in the past.
