StypeGRIP’s goal was to offer an affordable yet powerful
and robust solution for virtual and augmented reality
sets.
Since it can be used with industry standard camera crane
– Stanton Jimmy Jib – it is extremely flexible. Studios
don’t even need to own a crane, they can just rent it on
location. The Stype kit travels with the technician on a
plane as a hand luggage.
Automatic aiming and focusing option provides that
even beginners can start using it and very quickly
achieve great results.
Rendering engines that can be used are Vizrt, Orad and
Marketgraph. Also, Stype kit enables Motionbuilder®
to visualize the motion of the camera in real-time
and to record it for later use. It also supports LIVE
Previsualization in which Motionbuilder® realtime
render engine renders the scene from the perspective of
the virtual Stype kit camera in real-time.

Preview scenes can be imported into Motionbuilder®
from generic modeling software such as Autodesk
Maya® or Autodesk 3D Studio Max® by using the
