of Giving Women
What They Want!
WOMEN’S FAIR
The 17th annual Women’s Fair brought
together 385 exhibits including 130 fashion,
beauty and jewelry booths, 53 homerelated booths and 60 health and wellness
vendors and providers. Fashion and hair
shows, cooking demonstrations, a fitness
challenge, business workshop, keynote
speaker, health screenings, game shows
and shopping galore came together under
one roof at Century II Feb. 20-22, 2015.
Throughout the weekend women found
ideas to rejuvenate their home, kickoff a
new lifestyle, create a new wardrobe and
explore new interests. They shopped for
everything from beauty products &
services, fashions, specialty foods, house
wares, home décor, furniture, and jewelry
to pet products, automobiles, children’s
items and girlfriend gifts.
Two stages provided entertainment,
education and fun with 28 shows and
presentations including 2 fashion shows
each day, 9 cooking demonstrations, a
wine tasting, hair show, 2 educational
speakers, a spring fashion and color reveal
and our newest addition, a fairytale
princess party for the younger set.
In a Class By Itself
17 years of Success, because it works for you! 85 to 90% of our
exhibitors return year after year because they are successful. The Women’s Fair
provides a platform conducive to doing business.
14,500 to 16,000 Shoppers: A strong commitment to marketing provides a
consistent attendance both in quantity and quality. Our multimedia approach
targeted to specific Women Consumers with money to spend, encompasses over
1800 TV spots, billboards, radio saturation on at least 7 stations, local and regional
print publications and diverse social media components including Instagram,
Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest .
A Different Atmosphere: A fun, informative and relaxed day out with friends
and family set the tone for this one-of-kind Women’s Event. We have structured
The Women’s Fair differently than most.
A Diverse, Attractive Mix: A terrific array of different types of local, regional
and national exhibitors, retailers, product & service companies that know how to
visually present their products – backed up with just the right amount of fun and
entertainment.
Professional Management: Seasoned exhibitors continue to comment on
how they love working with the Women’s Fair. Owners Chris Veazey Brown and
Deanna Wheeler commit themselves to this “ONE” show year round. You will see
them at the show and on the floor.
Wichita, Kansas is a great place: As the Air-Capitol of the World, Wichita
continues to grow and serve as a regional shopping destination with a population
of just over 750,000 -- serving south central Kansas and northern Oklahoma with
a renowned reputation of warm Midwest charm. Wichita just opened its new and
expanded National Dwight D. Eisenhower Airport and is home to Wichita State
Shocker Basketball and the WSU new high tech “Innovation Campus”, Intrust
Bank Arena and numerous theaters. With an active Downtown and Art District,
Wichita continues to grow and support a myriad of local restaurants and chefs as
well as numerous national chains such as Costco, Cabela’s, Dillard’s, Lowes and
others.

Social Media was an incredible resource for 2015 Women's Fair
exhibitors! Many exhibitors took advantage of paid advertising
on facebook to "boost" a Women's Fair advertisement on their
business page prior to the show. For a minimal cost of $5-$20,
exhibitors were able to reach thousands more people in Wichita
and surrounding areas. This was beneficial to the individual businesses (adding new "likes") as well as the Women's Fair as a
whole (more attendees). Instagram & Twitter also offered ways
for exhibitors to interact with attendees. Women's Fair "Hashtags" were springing up all over these platforms before and during
the event... #womensfair2015 & #womensfair were some of the
more popular choices. Photos of new products, fun events & gals
enjoying their shopping experience increased interactions and visibility for Women's Fair exhibitors.
This is an example of networking at it’s best. To get someone’s
help, you need to offer your own in return – give value for value.
Through the years, we have had great help from our exhibitors in
promoting the Women’s Fair. The result is everyone ends up
bringing in attendees for themselves and as well as fellow exhibitors in the Fair. As the synergy builds everyone is a winner!
