Notes...
from
CHS
”Project 30”
Commerce School Resource Officer, Alex
Perez invited Justin Noel, Creator &
Instructor of the “Project 30” to CHS.
“Project 30” is a simulated driving bus to
show students first-hand real-world
experience of distracted driving,
specifically texting while driving and
driving under the influence. Students had
the opportunity to “drive” and actually
see the impact of what happens when you
drive distracted or under the influence.
It was a great learning experience for
both the students and staff.

Freshman injured in car accident...
CHS Freshman, Anah Armstrong, was injured in a car accident. According to
Anah’s family, she was riding in a vehicle that was hit. On impact, the spare tire
came off the vehicle and hit Anah in the head causing multiple wounds and damage
leaving her in critical condition. She is currently
still in the PICU at Mercy Springfield and is
awaiting transport to a Spine Specialty Hospital
in Colorado. Students and staff have collected
money, made cards, and prayed for Anah and her
family. Pictured is Anah at her 8th grade graduation and in the hospital. Photos courtesy of
