Announcing the first adapter designed to enable nebulizer administration with
a High Flow Therapy system. Designed specifically for use with Vapotherm
systems and the Aerogen Aeroneb® system, the nebulizer can be placed in
series between the patient delivery tube and nasal cannula.

Deposition
In vitro testing demonstrated the inhaled dose efficiency ranged from 4.5 –
9.1% at flows ranging from 1 – 8 L/min1. Using adult breathing parameters,
inhaled dose was 4.5% at a median flow of 30 L/min, and 3.1% at 40 L/min.

The Vapotherm adapter operated between 1 and 40 L/min, and delivered a
drug efficiency within the limits of other aerosol devices used in critical care.

Instructions for Use
sThe
adapter is not for continuous use and should be removed after each
treatment and between uses; water will accumulate if left in circuits
for extended periods
sIt
is important to maintain proper upright orientation of the adapter and
nebulizer unit during the administration process
sWhen
used as directed, the adapter will not compromise operation of the
Aeroneb Pro or Solo nebulizers
