Carmine Sorrentino started his DJ career in 1989, since
2003 he’s the resident DJ at Jimmy’z in Monte Carlo. During his gigs around the world he loves to carry the “Monte
Carlo Style”, so even if you’ve never been in Monaco
you’ll know how it sounds like! He loves house music, in
particular soulful and vocal, that’s why someone describes
his style as ‘chic house’.
When he play as guest he loves to take live musicians
with him, for example he works with saxophone player
Luca Signorini, digital percussionist Lele LTJ and singers Melanie Estella and Alex Cadoppi (MatchMusic TV).
Beside playing he loves to produce, his most succesfull
project has been “Miss Jane” with the smash hit “It’s a
Fine Day” which sold over one million copies worldwide,
and that has been re-published in 2010 in a new release
featuring remixes by D.O.N.S. and Simioli & Black.
I do remixes as well, my latest productions are “Knopki”
by the Russian band Zveri and “Gloria” by Umberto
Tozzi, released with a version produced by Alex Gaudino
and Jason Rooney.

La sua carriera di DJ è iniziata nel 1989, e dal 2003 è
il DJ resident al Jimmy’z di Monte Carlo. Porta con sè
il “Monte Carlo Style” quando mixa come guest nei
club più esclusivi.
Definisce il suo stile “Chic House”, ovvero un mix
energetico di house soulful e vocal. Ama arricchire i
suoi set con le performance di musicisti live, come il
sassofonista Luca Signorini, il “digital percussionist”
Lele LTJ, le vocalist Melanie e Alex di MatchMusic TV.
Per quanto riguarda la sua carriera di produttore, il
successo più importante è arrivato dal progetto “Miss
Jane”, con la hit planetaria “It’s a Fine Day”, che dal
1998 ha venduto più di un milione di copie, e che
è attualmente disponibile in una nuova versione
che comprende i remix di D.O.N.S., Pat-Rich e
Simioli&Black.
