INITIAL SITUATION
The large windows of the new Vitra House allow for a lot of light and sunshine to flood
the rooms. Moreover, you can see through practically the entire building.
SOLUTION
Motorized slanted curtains, a special version of Metric Slope III, were mounted to ensure
glare protection in the ‚playhouse‘-like slanted windows. In addition to this, curtains
(Dimmer with a back lining in Universal) mounted in the middle of conference and
meeting rooms ensure privacy and also absorb sound.The product Steel Base moreover
serves as additional privacy assurance in the conference rooms.
