How to Rip DVD to AVI, MP4, FLV, MOV, iPhone(5), iPod, iPad (3, Mini), Surface Tab?
Please download WinX DVD Ripper Platinum, install it according to the instruction, and launch this software. Then do as the following:
Step 1: Import DVD Movies.
You can click “DVD Disc” button to load DVD movie from DVD driver; load DVD ISO image or DVD folder by clicking “ISO Image” or “Folder” button.
Step 2: C hoose Output Format.
Scroll down Output Profile Category to choose the output format as you wish. Here I take DVD to iPhone 5 for example.

How to Copy DVD with Original Video and 5.1 Channel AC3/DTS Dolby Audio?

1. Load DVD by clicking "DVD Disc".
2. Select "DVD Backup" -> "Main Title C ontent C opy"; "Full Title C opy"; "C lone DVD TO ISO Image"; "C lone DVD To Folder" in Output Profile C ategory area.
3. C hoose the destination folder to save converted video.
4. C lick "RUN". The backup process is in the works.
How to Extract & Edit Audio, Video, Image and Subtitle from DVD?
1. Extract your beloved background music from DVD movie
Import the DVD file, and select "to Music" as output format. You will be able to extract the background music as MP3, AAC , AC 3 music file.
2. To edit audio and video for output file, like, adjust audio volume, crop video size, trim video segment
Adjust audio volume: click "Edit" button, and select "General" option on the popup window. Then adjust the audio volume as you need.
Crop video size: If you want to get rid of the black bar of DVD movie, or adjust movie's aspect ratio to Full Screen, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, you will need to crop video size.
Extract video segment by trimming: you can set the "Start Time" and "End Time" or dragging slide bar to rip any segment.
Edit subtitles: Generally, DVD movies have several subtitles. And the subtitle is disabled by default by WinX DVD Ripper Platinum.
If you want to show subtitle in the ripped video file, you could select the language you prefer from the "DVD Innner Subtitle" drop down box and set the position for the
subtitle.

How to Optimize the Video and Audio Parameters?
What's the "Video Quality"?
The "Video Quality" is namely the output file video bitrate. 1500 kbps is a good choice if you need a good image quality. Increasing the video quality will increase the
output file size and image quality. Reducing the video quality will reduce the output file size and the image quality. 1500 kbps will output a file size about 2GB with 3 hours
movie (720x404 image size) with very good image quality.
WinX DVD Ripper Platinum enables you to flexibly adjust audio and video parameters, including Video C odec, Bit Rate, Frame Rate, Aspect Ratio, Resolution, Audio
C odec, C hannel, Sample Rate, etc.
To edit parameters, please select the tool option, then adjust it on the popup window according to your needs.

A: The output video quality is decided by many factors, say, original video, output format, frame rate and so on. There are some ways to improve the converted quality.
1. Please use "Main Title C ontent C opy" function to have a try, which enables you to back up DVD with original audio and video.
2. C hange the output format to "MP4".
3. Please select "Use High Quality Engine" option.
4. Raise "Bit Rate" in" Video Options setting area.
