WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES
The World Meeting of Families
is an international event of
prayer, catechesis, and
celebration that draws
participants from around the globe.
In September 2015, Philadelphia will have the honor
of hosting the 8th World Meeting of Families, an
international event organized by the Ponti ical
Council for the Family, part of the Roman Curia that
was instituted by St. John Paul II in 1981, replacing
the Committee for the Family which was created by
Pope Paul VI in 1973.
The 8th World Meeting of Families will be held
September 22-27, 2015, and it seeks to strengthen the
bonds between families and to witness to the crucial
importance of marriage and family to all of society.
No speci ic registration procedures have yet been
announced, but the Family Life Of ice encourages you
to sign up for noti ications on the 8th World Meeting
of Families website at: www.worldmeeting2015.org
Prince of Peace Guatemala Trip
Our Sister Parish, Prince of Peace (POP) is requesting
prayer during their yearly mission trip to Santa Cruz de
Quiche in Guatemala. The prayer will begin on Saturday,
July 12,—July 19, 2014 at 3pm.
There will be a display by the main entrance of the
church for PRAYER SIGN UP.
Please sign up for prayer at any open time slot.
The prayer may be done at home.
All slots must be filled by Sunday, July 13, 2014. Please
call the office to sign up at a later time if you did not have
a chance to do so on Sunday.

CAFÉ CATHOLICA
CafeCatholica is an annual summer
series for young adults (in their 20's30's).
500-800youngadultsattend each night
(about 2,500 total each summer).
We are sponsoredbytheArchdiocese and kicked off
by CardinalDiNardo every summer.
We meet over four Monday evenings in July for Mass,
Dinnerand a Talk by a dynamic Catholic speaker.
Table Sponsors showcase organizations and ministries
and businesses that are of interest to young adults.
This is not a boring "church talk" - this is hundreds of
smart, passionate young adults searching for God.
